Founded in 1925, the Danbury Garden Club located in the city of Danbury, CT consists of 53 active members united by an interest in gardening and a desire to learn and share their knowledge with others.
The mission of the Danbury Garden Club is:
To further members’ interest in and knowledge of gardening, horticulture, and flower design.
To participate in civic beautification.
To promote conservation and environmental education.
Affiliated with the Federated Garden Clubs of Connecticut, Inc., and National Garden Clubs, Inc., we support the beautification and sustainability of the city of Danbury through the maintenance of several public gardens including the historical gardens at the Danbury Museum, the Old Jail, the Five Star Memorial and the Danbury Library.
Through other special projects and donations, we offer support to organizations that share our cornerstone values of education, conservation, preservation, and beautification.
